FrEzzatFr. Ezzat Bathouche was born, in Khabab, Syria 1982. In the year 2007, he joined the Minor Seminary in Damascus at the age of 16; then he joined the seminary of St. Paul at Harissa-Lebanon from 2000 until 2008.  He graduated with Masters of Philosophy and a Bachelor in Theology.  He participated in many sessions and lectures about the Unity of Christians and many religious dialogs. 
Fr. Ezzat received his Diaconate Ordination on June 22nd 2008 at St. Helen in Jounieh-Lebanon, and his Priestly Ordination on August 22nd 2008 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Ascension in his village of Khabab.  Directly after his ordination, he served at the Major Seminary in Harissa, Lebanon and from 2009 until 2013 he served the Cathedral of Saint George in Cordoba-Argentina. 
Today, Fr. Ezzat is the Priest of St. John the Baptist Melkite Church in Northlake –Illinois, serving the Melkite Community as well as the Hispanic Community, as well as St. Michael the Archangel in Hammond Indiana.
